San Quintín, Baja California, February 18, 2016

The Alliance of National, State and Municipal Organizations for Social Justice (AONEMJS) and the National Independent Democratic Farm Worker’s Union (SINDJA) declare the following:

The Alliance of Organizations and the recently created Independent union of Farm Worker’s in Mexico (SINDJA) have allied themselves with diverse organizations and democratic unions of this country and the rest of the world, we are conscious of the way that the mobilization of farm workers in the San Quintín Valley is crossing borders, we know in very much the same way that the support of other organizations that have come in solidarity with us have been very important in the advance of our struggle which has turned out to be a just cause, because we have sought the well being of the farm worker families not just in Baja California but also the entire country.

We are in favor of cordiality, peace, harmony and transparency, we thank all of the organizations, unions, activists that have in solidarity collaborated with the process of our struggle and we acknowledge that their support has existed on many levels; translations, events, activities. From the very beginning our struggle has been characterized by loyalty and transparency and we will continue to do so in respect of the confidence given to us by our brothers and sisters who are farm workers.

  1. For this matter, the Alliance of Organizations and the National Union of Farm Workers, will not be responsible of any donations that are collected without the consent of both organizations that represent the legitimate and legal struggle of Farm Workers across the country. We do not endorse any donation of economic means made by indirect manner.
  2. Economic support has always been received by organizations and unions that hold our confidence, in a direct manner, in concrete moments of our movement and have always been handled with transparency among the participating organizations.
  3. To increase this transparency further, all communications must go directly to the leadership of the Alliance of Organizations and National Independent Union of Farm Workers (SINDJA).
  4. March 17, 2016 will be the first anniversary of the general strike in San Quintínthe organizations that would like further information regarding how to support this struggle, please contact with the leadership of the Alliance of National, State and Municipal Organizations for Social Justice (AONEMJS) and the National Independent Democratic Farm Worker’s Union (SINDJA). Attached is the electronic mail of these organizations so that direct contact can occur with the governing board:        (AONEMJS) Alianza_de_organizaciones@outlook.com     (SINDJA) sindja@outlook.es
  5. Our struggle will continue being free of political parties. One of the things that has stood out about our organization is that we are independent of all ends that are not just and transparent. We are disillusioned with whatever political propaganda that misuses our struggle in San Quintín directly. We consider it very dishonest to use our just struggle for personal gain.
