TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS,
TO DEMOCRATIC LABOR UNIONS AND COLLECTIVES,
TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ACTIVISTS.
TO THE MUSICIANS AND ACTORS WHO HAVE RECENTLY BECOME PART OF THE FARMWORKER MOVEMENT IN THE SAN QUINTIN VALLEY
The Alliance of National, State and Municipal Organizations for Social Justice, sends their brotherly and militant greeting from the San Quintin Valley in Baja California.
In the same context we inform you that to the present day of Thursday May 7, 2015. The Alliance of Organizations has not cancelled the meeting scheduled for tomorrow Friday May 8 the alliance of national, state and municipal organizations for social justice HOLDS RESPONSIBLE, THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR LUIS ENRIQUE MIRANDA NAVA, THE STATE GOVERNOR OF BAJA CALIFORNIA, THE GROWERS, as well as THE EXISTING LABOR UNIONS in the State of Baja California, before any physical social event.
Because the farmworkers are not willing to wait one more day, at 52 days from the beginning of the work stoppage to date, there has not been a positive response regarding a salary of 200 Mexican pesos ($13.23 US Dollars) per day x 8 days a week.
The struggle of the farmworkers continues and is not stepping back.
